FOLLOW-UP PHASES
INTENSIVE DAY CARE TREATMENT AND AFTER CARE
In order to successfully transition from our inpatient unit to the community, the intensive outpatient program is vital.
This program consists of two to four weeks of intensive out patient program that is available for eligible clients who have completed our residential treatment. It is a structured extended care program that occurs at our clinic at Marbella High Care. The program consists of an hour of meditation, group session and two individual sessions daily from Monday to Friday. The program also includes a doctor’s visit once a week and in many cases family sessions. We customize the program to facilitate the patient's integration back in the community.
It is a well known fact that the first year after recovery the rate of relapse is high and patients are most vulnerable. That is why we design a customised program for each patient and we follow closely our patients during that phase. We include as part of our program the following treatment modalities: Individual session, group session, medications, family sessions, 12-step community meetings. Many of our patients become role models for others and help out in the recovery process of others.
